Where is your ‘water place’?

I love it when thoughtful and generous people say: “Have you come across X? I think you might like it…”

One such recent signpost was from the delightfully perceptive storyteller, Rachel Ostrander.

“I wondered if you have ever read the book Blue Mind by Wallace J Nichols? … The book is about the importance of water and how integral it is to our health and well-being. Many of your posts about water have echoed that idea.”

What a beautiful discovery.

It reminded me of why I have always been drawn to water and being by the waterside.

One of J’s opening questions is: where is your water place? The special place you go to – in your memory or current reality – when you want to recover your happiness, your joy and awe?

Good question.

I wonder, where is yours?
