The art of being yourself

There is no one like you. Nor is there anyone who could be confused for being me.

It’s an art, not a science.

And it starts with being still enough to know ourselves.

John O’Donohue’s blessing is a healthy invitation:

To come home to yourself

May all that is unforgiven in you,
Be released.

May your fears yield
Their deepest tranquilities.

May all that is unlived in you,
Blossom into a future,
Graced with love.

And Caroline McHugh’s TEDx talk – The Art of Being Yourself – takes us on, if we are ready to go further.
