Did you know, it only requires a moment to take delight in observing?
Just a moment to notice. A brief pause to let your attention alight on something or someone you would otherwise just pass by.
This morning when I opened the curtains the view across the valley was magnificent. We had a temperature inversion, with clear blue sky above a glorious mixture of soft mist and sunlight reflecting off the hillside.
Then on the green path noticing what happens when dew forms on dandelion heads. And seeing decaying trees sprouting deep purple bracket fungus.
Things on the edge of our vision often have the power to delight us. They somehow enlarge us if we approach them with an attitude of expectant wonder.
What are you noticing as you walk through your hours and what is giving you delight?
It can transform your day and bless others.
