The human spirit is not found in isolation nor the absence of context.
And ultimately, words are meaningless unless shared.
Because the capacity for self-belief is the gift of the other to us – it becomes harsh, hollow, and effortful when we try to make it for ourselves.
Therefore, we only find ourselves in relationships because we were never meant to go it alone. In yielding control of our boundaries, we find the freedom to fly.
“We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit.”
