Yesterday’s post How are your answers doing? stimulated several good conversations.
A couple were with other people – on LinkedIn and Zoom – and one was with me…
I realised that I was trying to find a question to use as a navigation tool.
If I knew what I need to ask, my meta question would define my path in this uncertain space. Phew. Job done.
And then, horrors, I also realised that I was in danger of searching for questions to fit my answers.
Not obviously – I would have spotted that – but the way I was framing questions was shaped by the ideas I was already playing with.
Is there such a thing as question bias?
