Hoping for change

We all hope for change and want to believe that the world can be a better place. Why wouldn’t we?

Optimism is infectious and makes us feel more hopeful. Which is great.

But is hope enough?

At the core only people make change, one person at a time. So perhaps it’s worth thinking about how change that sticks actually happens and how long it takes (we might call this our theory of change).

Because we’re all just people and if we’re honest we know how difficult it is for us to change…

Yes, hope fuels our confidence that we can be different. Without it, we wouldn’t even bother. But it doesn’t deliver transformation on its own.

So how do you believe change happens?

Just asking.
