Dancing in the liminal space

Often we want to keep our feet planted firmly on the ground because it feels safe.

We know where we are. Our stability is assured, and we can’t be caught off balance.

But it costs us more than we realise because we can’t go very far. We are less able to respond to the flow or bend with the wind.

Being intentionally present isn’t being static, or rooted to the earth.

It’s being alive and alert to the dance, where we only learn the steps as we yield to the music.

Can you hear it coming?
