COME REST, FOR TOMORROW IS WAITING
Come, rest.
Let your
shoulders drop. You
don’t have
to carry
it all.Come, rest.
Stand quietly
in the stream. Let
it gently bathe
your tired
heart.Come, rest.
You are
not alone. We
are walking
by your
side.Come, rest.
For tomorrow
awaits you, and
words only
you can
speak.

This week
I wasn’t expecting this, but the week has been about travelling. I have been dipping into John O’Donohue’s blessing For the Traveller, from Benedictus: A Book of Blessings, and finding some unexpected resonance along the way. And yes, tomorrow is another day.
- Monday: Ducks in the dark
- Tuesday: Hearing in the silence
- Wednesday: Revealing the rocks
- Thursday: The urgencies of hope
- Friday: An invitation to hope and belonging
