Calm and turbulence.
We think of them as entirely different states.
But they aren’t.
This is life if we are living.
This is flow if we are moving.
This is growth and emergence and wonder unless we are dying.
We have a choice.
If we want it to be safe, we will keep churning out the same thing until we realise that we’ve become redundant.
We try to control everything, which means we are connected to nothing.
Or we can take the risk and live in the flow.
Knowing that calm and turbulence exist side by side.
And we’re prepared for both.
Knowing that ultimately we are safest when we let go.
THE LESSON OF THE FALLING LEAVES
the leaves believe
such letting go is love
such love is faith
such faith is grace
such grace is god
