Being ready to sit with the question

Have you noticed? Often our significant questions invite us to sit with them for a while.

Yet we’re in such a hurry. We’ve become conditioned to believe that questions need clear answers. Now.

But how would we know we’re looking at it the wrong way round, upside down, or back to front?

Indeed what if the question itself is an answer. Or perhaps we’re never meant to find it on our own because others have a missing piece.

More importantly, it may be that the question has work to do in us, which we won’t realise unless we sit with it.

I think the world is yearning for people who are ready to sit with the big questions long enough because the answers we’ve currently got are woefully inadequate.
