Being open to the unexpectedly beautiful

When I am pursuing a beautiful thread, I have come to expect the unexpected.

Because often, when I hit a dead-end, and I’m ready to give up, I notice something out of the corner of my eye.

Perhaps I’m becoming more awake to the astonishing possibilities created by mixing ideas or contrasting insights. Often when we are least expecting them.

Who would have thought a single shaft of light could reveal an utterly different perspective?

Or an act of generous humanity could awaken hearts to something profoundly beautiful?

We need to be open to seeing differently because beauty can’t be manufactured.

I wonder, where do you encounter your moments of unexpected beauty?
