Being intentional

Thoughtful. Deliberate. Purposeful.

Being intentional is the opposite of random reactiveness.

It gives us the opportunity to choose the quality and character of our words and actions. To consider how and where things land. In advance.

However, it also carries a sense of knowing the whole picture. And that’s a potential problem.

It can lead us to assume that we have more control than is real. Or that we have the only solution.

Neither of which is true.

But don’t stop being intentional, especially with kindness and generosity, just because you don’t know the outcome.

That’s not up to you. It’s not in your gift.

Do what is.
